The topic I want to share with you today is: Face up to history and benefit the world.
Yesterday I shared with you how the internet celebrity Mr. Fernando (his Chinese name is 高飞Gao Fei), with a professional attitude, carefully analyzed the report of Sheffield Hallam UNIVERSITY in the UK that smeared Xinjiang cotton. This confirms the so-called (fact) that forced labor exists in Xinjiang, which is often used as an authoritative academic report by the West. Fernando (Gao Fei) ‘s report completely refuted this shoddy report that took advantage of the public’s trust in universities and fooled the international community. This fact, coupled with the fact that the university recently lost a defamation lawsuit – compounded by the USAID and NED are running out of food (funding) . It is so true that today’s news and tomorrow’s history.
The question is how many politicians today value history, learn from it and avoid repeating the mistakes of their predecessors? The answers are few and far between! The United States is definitely not among them! The Group of Seven, or G7, is no exception. Otherwise, there wouldn’t have been a recent statement pointing fingers at China’s internal affairs, Taiwan Province! How do I say that?
The G7 is an inter-governmental political forum composed of the world’s seven largest developed economies. Its formal members are the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Japan and Italy. The United States, Britain, and France were the victorious nations in World War II. Germany, Italy and Japan were all initiators of World War II. Both the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation are related to these seven countries.
After the end of World War II, the economies of the four victorious countries and the three defeated countries all flourished. The final formation of the Group of Seven all had their own historical reasons, but it was also inseparable from the factors of time, place and people. Unfortunately, the G7 has now gone almost in the opposite direction of its original intention. Professor James C. Hsiung (in Chinese 熊玠,and Mandarin pronunciation: Xiong Jie) , who just celebrated his 90th birthday last year, is a famous American expert on international politics and international law. He was also Ma Ying-jeou’s master’s thesis supervisor. He once published an article in the August issue of Strait Review (海峽評論 )No. 128 in 2001 titled “The San Francisco Peace Treaty and International Politics”. In the preface of the article, Professor Hsiung told readers:
I quote:
“This year marks the confluence of several important milestone anniversaries in the history of Sino-Japanese relations. First, it is the 70th anniversary of the September 18th Incident; second, it is the 64th anniversary of the July 7th Incident during the War of Resistance against Japan. Third, it is also the 50th anniversary of the San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan, which was created by the United States as a World War II ally and excluded China as a victorious country.
The San Francisco Peace Treaty with Japan in 1951 was a product of the United States’ blatant betrayal of the wartime commitment amongst the United States, Britain, the Soviet Union and China (the Republic of China led by Chairman Chiang Kai-shek) not to conclude a separate peace treaty with Japan after its defeat. It is hard to explain why the United States did not allow the Korean people, the Filipino people, and the Indonesian people, who also suffered from Japanese invasion and bullying, to participate (I [Professor Hsiung]say people here because they had not yet gained independence during World War II). What’s more, China, which suffered the longest and deepest invasion, massacre, plagiarism and plunder from Japan during World War II, was not invited to participate. How ironic! “
End of quote
The leaders of the G7 should be well aware that the leaders of their relevant political parties had witnessed UN Resolution 2758 on October 27, 1971. Recognize that there is only one China in the world and the People’s Republic of China is the only government representing China. It is also an ironclad fact that Taiwan was expelled from the United Nations. Not to mention the contents of the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation. The information collected by the National Archives of the United States has long confirmed that Taiwan is a province of China and a part of China.
It is worth noting that before the UN General Assembly passed Resolution 2758, it held a public vote and rejected by a large majority the US proposal on how the then US Ambassador to the United Nations, Bush Senior, should have represented then President Nixon and National Security Advisor Kissinger at the General Assembly to fight for “One China, One Taiwan” and for Taiwan to remain in the United Nations with a special status. The results were all lost in public voting by a large margin.
Foreign internet celebrity Jerry Grey (Jerry) recently used simple and easy-to-understand logic in one of his videos to tell his fans that he had personally read the entire contents of the Cairo Declaration and the Potsdam Proclamation. Original record of the process of passing UN Resolution 2758. As a result, the Three Sino-US Joint Communiqués and related materials confirmed the fact that Taiwan is a province of China. Jerry made it clearer to find the real material. We must trace back to the source and find the most original information.
Only in this way can we find out the truth of the matter. It was through this process of seeking facts that he changed his previous view that China was invading Taiwan.
Unfortunately, this kind of change in mental course can only be expected through public education of one kind or another. Let everyone know and accept the historical facts. We cannot expect politicians who can forget their past to be aware of themselves, reflect on themselves and turn over a new leaf to face their past mistakes. Not to mention that it is common for politicians to tamper with history!
Ultimately, instead of expecting politicians to change, it is better to awaken the confused new generation of future successors. Especially young people who were born and raised in Taiwan Province. Let them take some time to visit China and see what their real motherland is like. I’ve included a link to Jerry’s video in the description for everyone to check out on YouTube. Understand and learn his thinking logic to deal with the Western rumor-mongering tactics to smear China.
Our “(ECHO) , Ethnic Communities Homeland Opportunities Multimedia Platform” will continue to look for more like-minded foreign friends, find convincing real-life facts from different aspects, and share world events and life highlights with everyone through other social messaging platforms. Thank you everyone and please help us spread it widely, bye!
